Prague Easter 2011

Traditional and tradionally nice competition Prague Easter took place this weekend. Weather was sunny and unusually warm, courses were challenging. I participated in first two stages. Friday middle distance was quite tough, I dont know if I was so tired after morning training or the sun was so strong, but I felt quite tired, moreover I lost three times about half minute and many times I didnt have it under control, so I was quite surprised by a big lead in the finish.

The second stage I used just as a first long distance training of the weekend and took it quite easy to stay fresh for following trainings. Although I prefer competing to slow running, I think one can really enjoy this sand-stone terrain even running slow. Unexpectedly I won again, although my avarage heart rate was only 134. But in the end of the race I met Michal Horacek, who finished 3rd and he also looked running rather for fun than for result 😉
